OUR MISSION
:
The College Connection is an ABE Transition-to- College Program which is supported by grants from the Maine College Transition Initiative, the New England Literacy Resource Center/World Education, and the Nellie Mae Education Foundation.

This program is designed for non-traditional students to improve their educational skills and enhance their careers by opening the doors to a college degree or other post-secondary education.

ABOUT OUR CLASSES:
First of all, our program is FREE!
Our classes meet weekly (15 week semester cycle) in a college setting to learn and practice the skills needed to succeed. Learn more about our program...

We hold our classes in a state-of-the-art educational facility at the
University of Maine's Hutchinson Center
in Belfast on Mondays from 8 AM to 4:45 PM. Our program is structured to be supportive for the adult student.

The instructors are professionals in their respective fields (Language arts, Mathematics, and Computers) and are able to provide one-on-one help in a non-intimidating classroom setting to support the student's overall educational goals.
